Isabel is Apple’s Vice President and Managing Director of Greater China, reporting to CEO Tim Cook and COO Jeff Williams. Isabel provides leadership and coordination across Apple’s more than 10,000 employees in Greater China.
Trained as an engineer, Isabel joined Apple in 2008 as Vice President of wireless technologies. She oversaw the development of cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, location and motion technologies for nearly every product. She was instrumental in driving product features for the Greater China market, and in creating and leading the wireless engineering organization in China.
Since becoming Apple’s first managing director of China in 2017, Isabel has been leading Apple’s mission to leave the world a better place, supporting the China Development Research Forum rural education programs, Apple’s own Zhihui programs and the company’s first Design and Development Accelerator in China.
Isabel was appointed as an independent director of Starbucks board on September 2019.
Jane Sun is the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of directors of Trip.com Group Limited, a leading global travel services company that operates the sub-brands Trip.com,Ctrip, Skyscanner and Qunar. She first joined the company as Chief Financial Officer in 2005, later serving as Chief Operating Officer and Co-President, before becomingCEO in 2016.
In the years since Ms. Sun joined, Trip.com Group has experienced a significant increase in its market capitalization, growing from about $1 billion to $20 billion, and has continued to rapidly expand its global footprint. Before joining Trip.com Group, Ms. Sun was head of the SEC and External Reporting Division of Applied Materials, Inc. since 1997. Prior to that, she was an audit manager at KPMG LLP in Silicon Valley, California. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a State of California Certified Public Accountant. Ms. Sun earned her Bachelor’s degree from the business school of the University of Florida, and graduated with high distinction. She also attended Peking University Law School, where she obtained her LLM degree.
Phyllis is responsible for the overall business of McDonald’s in the Chinese mainland, overseeing the Company’s business strategy and development.
Phyllis joined McDonald’s in 2000 and had served as the managing director in the Chinese mainland, Singapore and Malaysia. In 2015, she became the CEO of McDonald's China. Under her leadership, the number of restaurants in the Chinese mainland has doubled with rapid expansion in lower-tier cities. Envisioning the roadmap of digital transformation, she led the company to establish a comprehensive data-driven system and elevate customer dining experience through omni-channel digital platforms. While accelerating business development, Phyllis has initiated various sustainability programs covering green restaurants, green packaging, children’s welfare, youth employment, and etc.

Angela joined Nike China in 2005. She is currently the Vice President of Nike Inc. and General Manager of Nike Greater China, and is responsible for shaping the vision and growth strategy for Greater China – all while continuing to elevate the Nike brand and create strong consumer connections. During her tenure, Angela has played a critical role in driving the Greater China business and delivering sustainable and profitable growth. Prior to her current position, she acted as the CFO for Greater China. Angela’s solid business experience, proven track record, knowledge of the Greater China marketplace and foresight of digital business have made her a crucial member of Nike’s global leadership team. Siyuan received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the Fudan University. She also earned a MBA degree from the Columbia Business School, and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts.
Holly Lei has taken over as President of Covestro China based in Shanghai, effective July 1, 2019. With more than 20 years of experience in cross-cultural management around the world, Lei is the first local female leader for this position.
With a strong technical background in chemical engineering and material science, Lei started her career at Bayer Material Science(the predecessor company of Covestro) in 1999 as a technical representative, and has since held various management positions of increasing responsibilities focusing on sales, technical service and R&D in Greater China and the APAC region. As a seasoned leader strong at managing dispersed teams, she devoted her cross-industry insights and customer centric mindset to develop focus industries for Covestro’s Business Unit Polycarbonates in Greater China and the APAC region.
In her role as Global Head of Electrical, Electronics & Appliances (EE&A), BU Polycarbonates, Lei helped Covestro strengthen its industrial leadership by enhancing the global CMF (color, materials, finish)capabilities, transforming Covestro from a material supplier to an innovation partner.
Apart from her business success, Lei is also an affectionate people leader and excels at fostering an environment that allows people to flourish and develop to their fullest potential. As an avid ambassador of diversity and inclusion(D&I)at Covestro, she is actively involved in promoting D&I and equality in the workplace.

CAI, Jinqing started her career in 1993 in New York as an associate in a strategic consulting company. She then moved to Hong Kong to work for private equity fund management companies, k1 Ventures and Lark International Entertainment Limited, focusing on the media and entertainment industries.
In 2002, she co-founded the PR firm New Alliance Consulting International in Beijing and managed the highly successful inaugural annual conference of Boao Forum for Asia. In 2005, Ms. Cai became the founding partner of Brunswick Beijing, playing a central role in the PR firm’s high profile cross-border transactions.
In 2012, Ms. Cai joined the leading auction house Christie’s as the first Managing Director of Christie’s China. She was appointed President of Christie’s China in 2014 and then Chairman in 2016.
Ms. Cai received her bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College in Massachusetts and a Master’s in Public Affairs from Woodrow Wilson School of International and Public Affairs, Princeton University. She was born and raised in Beijing and was an undergraduate student at Beijing University, before pursuing her education overseas.
Ms. Cai is on the international advisory board of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, and serves as a board member of Teach for China, a non-profit organization focusing on education inequality in China In parallel with her new role at Kering Greater China, Ms. Cai retains a consulting role at Christie’s, serving as Chairwoman of the company’s Asia Advisory Board.
Ms. Cai will be joining the Board of Mandarin Oriental International Limited as Non-Executive Directors with effect from 1st December 2021.
Ying is currently leading Asia Business Development for Pfizer. She is responsible for establishing Pfizer’s strategy for China and Japan to guide and prioritize internal and external product pipeline opportunities and business opportunities, and driving innovative initiatives and building partnerships, in order to fulfill unmet patient needs and accelerate Pfizer’s growth in Asia.
From 2020 to 2021, she successfully led and completed strategic collaborations with external partners including Cstone, Cansino, LianBio and Ferring. She also led development of the five-year China strategy plan and the China Vision 2025 plan for Pfizer Pharmaceutical Group.
Ying has over 20 years of pharmaceutical industry experience spanning across commercial, development and manufacturing.
Prior to returning to Pfizer China in 2016, Ying spent 12 years at Pfizer’s New York headquarters, with roles including Commercial Decision Analytics Global Lead, Pfizer Consulting Asia Lead, Senior Manager in Global Supply, and biostatistician in R&D. She relocated to Beijing five years ago, and assumed responsibilities first as the Chief of Staff for the Greater China Region, and then as the Strategy & Business Development Lead.
Ying holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering & Management Sciences from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Fudan University in Shanghai.
Adele Tao joined LIXIL in 2012, successively served as vice president of national sales, general manager of Greater China and vice president of Asia Pacific for global key customers. In March 2019, Adele Tao was promoted as the Managing Director of GROHE, INAX, Kitchen and Integrated System Bathrooms in Greater China. Under her leadership, the team has consolidated and expanded market share and improved sales performance. From 2015, she is the Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources Management in Stuttgart Germany Bosch Global Headquarter. Starting from Feb 2019, she joins the Management Board of Bosch China as the Executive Vice President, responsible for Human Resources in China & Asia Pacific.

Claire Chen graduated from Shanghai International Studies University with a major in International Accounting. She worked in Microsoft for 10 years as a senior Business Manager of Global Foundation Services and as the Director of business Operations of cloud and Enterprise Division in Microsoft headquarters in the United States.She was responsible for the overall operation planning and implementation of Microsoft Azure and Office 365 cloud services in China, and made major contributions to the landing and development of Microsoft's cloud business in China.
In 2016, Claire Chen co-founded Clobotics with her partners and served as the Chief Operating Officer, responsible for the company's marketing strategy, public relations, government relations, business operations, human resources and other businesses.In the past five years, under the guidance of her, Clobotics has created two leading products of artificial intelligence, facing wind power and retail.At the time of economic downturn,Clobotics revenue continued to grow, won several national awards and patent authorization. With 13 years of experience in translational medicine, she is committed to exploring the molecular pathogenesis of disease occurrence and development, preclinical evaluation of new drugs, and research on drug resistance mechanisms. The main clinical-grade genetic diagnosis product, and the first successful launch of epilepsy diagnosis clinical services based on whole exome sequencing in China, she led the establishment of the first high-throughput platform for clinical function verification and drug development services based on zebrafish technology.

Xiufen Si, Ph.D. in Engineering from Zhongnan University and currently studying EMBA program in Shanghai Jiaotong University, is one of Science and Technology Leading Talents in Suzhou and Jinji Lake Double Hundred Talents. As chairman of the board in Suzhou AGV Robot Co., Ltd, she is also chairman of both Suzhou Robot Industry Association and Qingdao Robot Industry Association. Dr. Yanmei Zhu, Executive Director and Executive Vice President of BGI Group, is in charge of strategies, talent development, public relations, branding, organizational culture and social responsibility. She is the only female among the five executive directors of BGI Group. Since joining BGI in 2012, Dr. Zhu has founded the business incubator Miracle Light, the sports & fitness company SGI, the Mammoth Foundation, the BGI employee learning platform, the BGI long-term employee program, and established the "Big Tree" talent development system.
