Dr. Stefan Chen joined Cardiovascular & Specialty Solutions (CSS), Johnson & Johnson on March 26, 2018. He takes full responsibilities of strategies and P&L for CSS China business, based in Shanghai.
Stefan Chen joined J&J from Becton Dickinson where he was leading Preanalytical Systems business in Greater China, where he has a track record of success in sales and marketing with increased responsibilities over the course of six years. Prior to that, Stefan spent five years at McKinsey & Company, with focus on the healthcare industry.
He has led strategic projects across Asia and global markets, developed clients in pharmaceutical, medical devices, and biotech sectors.
Stefan holds a Ph.D. degree in Immunology and a master’s degree in Molecular &Cellular Biology from Harvard University. He also has a bachelor’s degree in Life Science (Cell Biology & Genetics) from Peking University.
Dr. Jielin Dong is the vice president of CUSTech Institute and a part-time research fellow of the China Institute for Science and Technology Policy at Tsinghua University. She also serves as a board member for multiple technological companies, and a columnist for a few international journals. Her recent work is the book “A brief history of human innovation: the power of desires”.
Dr. Dong was a distinguished professor of Soochow University, and the director of the Center for Enterprise Innovation and Development of Soochow University. Through her career, she has worked for Fortune 500 technology companies such as Lucent and Cisco, as well as financial companies and scientific institutes. Dr. Dong finished her Ph.D. degree in physics in Carnegie Mellon University in 1988.

Liu gongrun is currently deputy director and researcher of CEIBS Lujiazui Institute of international finance. He is a doctor and postdoctoral of Fudan University. Dr. Xu Li is the Co-founder and CEO of SenseTime, a leading global AI company. Under his leadership, SenseTime has independently developed a deep learning platform and supercomputing centers, and launched a wide range of AI technologies which are powering many companies in industries like education, healthcare, smart city, automotive, communications and entertainment. Wei Zhang is an associate professor with tenure at the School of Economics & Management (SEM) in Tsinghua University, Associate Director of National Entrepreneurship Research Center at Tsinghua University, and Founding Director of Tsinghua x-lab.
