Jui Tan is the Managing Partner of BlueRun Ventures China. He joined BlueRun Ventures US in 2000 and started BlueRun China in 2005. With over 20 years of venture capital experience, Jui has been recognized among the top 100 venture capitalists worldwide by Forbes Midas List and as the No.1 early-stage investor in China by Zero2IPO. He has been also named as a top venture capitalist and early-stage investor in China by ChinaVenture, Forbes China, and 36Kr.

He has led the investment in excellent early projects such as Ganji.com, PPTV, QingCloud (600316.SH), Yiautos, and i-Kingtec. He also participated in many major strategic mergers and acquisitions in the industry such as Ganji.com/58.com.

Jui is an active early-stage investor in enterprise service and high-tech. Prior to joining the firm, Jui held various management positions within Singapore Telecom, most recently served as a Director of Global Service Development, responsible for SingTel's managed data and voice services globally. Prior to this, he held engineering management positions at IBM, focusing on computing and networking systems.

Jui received his B.S. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and M.B.A. from the International Institute of Management Development (IMD) in Switzerland.

Mr. Feng Deng founded Northern Light Venture Capital (NLVC) in 2005. He has more than 15 years of technical and managerial experience spanning the computing, communication, and data networking industries, in addition to his nearly two decades of investment leadership. Currently, Feng oversees upwards of $4.5 billion across 5 USD funds and 5 RMB funds.

Throughout his career, he has focused on early-stage investments across the science and technology sectors, and he continues his commitment to cultivating world-class Chinese enterprises and supporting entrepreneurs in these sectors to this day. In addition to his role at NLVC, Feng serves on the Board of Directors of Tsinghua University Foundation and is Director of Schwarzman College at Tsinghua University, a Distinguished Visiting Professor of Tsinghua University, the Chairman of the Asia Advisory Board of the USC Viterbi School of Engineering, an Advisory Board member of the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR), a member of the Asia Council of Wharton School, a member of the China Council of Harvard GSAS, the Deputy Director General of China Entrepreneur Club, and the rotating president of Future Forum.

Feng holds BS and MS degrees in electrical engineering from Tsinghua University, an MS degree in computer engineering from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He also holds numerous patents of invention in computer system architecture and IC design.

He is also the Executive Chairman and Co-founder of YD Care (home healthcare service provider), Heal Oncology (oncology group in the Greater Bay area), Boxful Technology (the leading on-demand storage service provider in Asia), HelloToby Technology (the leading online service marketplace in Hong Kong), and Precision Medical. Carl is also the Chairman of Care Alliance (the leading post-acute healthcare operator in China), and the Chairman of NF Greater Bay Area Health Holding.)

Prior to founding New Frontier, Mr. Wu was one of the youngest Managing Directors at Blackstone and executed some of Blackstone's most important investments in China. He was a founding member of Blackstone Asia and was instrumental in establishing Blackstone's businesses across China. Prior to moving to Hong Kong, Mr. Wu was based in Blackstone's London office, and has worked in Blackstone’s London, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Beijing offices. Before joining Blackstone, he worked in investment banking at UBS in London.

Mr. Wu holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics, where he graduated with First Class Honors.

Ms. Xu is Founding Partner and Chief Investment Officer of VS Partners. She has near-two-decades of experience in Asia Pacific capital markets across asset classes in public equity, private equity, private credit, and structured products, and pioneered the first independent Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) asset allocation model in China.

Prior to founding VS Partners, Ms. Xu co-founded FountainCap Research & Investment Co., Ltd (“FountainCap”) , a well-known Greater China long-only equity manager with approximately $1.5bn asset under management from prominent sovereign-wealth fund, pension allocators, university endowments, long-term OCIO and family offices, and banking institutions. In her role as founding CEO between 07/2014 to 08/2019, FountainCap was awarded in two consecutive years (2018, 2019), the "Asset Management Company of the Year – China Equity Category" by The Asset, and in three consecutive years (2017, 2018, 2019) the Golden Bull China Overseas Long-Only Management Company of the Year.

Prior to founding FountainCap, Ms. Xu was an Investment Officer at Capital International Private Equity Funds (“CIPEF”), a subsidiary of the Capital Group. Prior to Capital Group, Ms. Xu was an investment banker at J.P. Morgan Securities (Far East) Ltd., Credit Suisse (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd and Citigroup Global Markets Asia Ltd. Prior to that, Ms. Xu was a management consultant at Monitor Group in Beijing in the early 2000s.

Ms. Xu received a B.A. of International Economics from Peking University, China, a M.A. of Economics from the Ohio State University, the U.S., and EMBA degree from China Europe International Business School. Ms. Yeung is the founder and Managing Partner of Dragonrise Capital based in Shanghai, China. Born in China, and educated in both China and USA, she is one of the earliest venture capitalists investing in mainland China. In past 20 years she has been instrumental in investments in and financing of a number of high profile and successful Chinese internet startups which are now multi-billion dollar public companies, impacting the daily lives of almost all Chinese citizens today. These include the Series A round investment in Tencent Technologies (HKSE:700), the largest internet media/gaming company in China with about USD500 billion in market cap investments, which also owns the Wechat platform with 800 million users worldwide as the largest Chinese social media platform in the world; also investments in Sohu.com and Sina.com, and Focus Media Holdings (the largest Chinese outdoor media company) and GCL-Poly Energy (the leading poly-silicon and wafer suppliers in the world). She remains an active VC investor in China managing new funds investing in startups in Artificial Intelligence related technologies and applications area.

Prior to her return to mainland China, Shirley was Director of Venture Investments at PCCW in Hong Kong from 2000 to 2003. Before that she worked for JP Morgan as a Vice President in Equity Capital Markets Group in Hong Kong office from 1997 to 2000 and participated in the advisory and execution of the earliest and largest Chinese SOE privatization transactions including the overseas IPOs of China Telecom, China Mobile and Unicom etc.  Prior to relocating back to Asia, Shirley managed a pension fund portfolio of $3.5 billion in non-U.S. equity investments for NYNEX Asset Management Company in New York City, now part of Verizon Investment Management Corp, one of the largest Private Pension Fund Managers in USA.

As part of her contributions to the Chinese venture capital and investment industry, Shirley served a two-year term in Beijing between 2014-2015 as Executive Chairwoman of the Investment and Financing Committee, under the MOFCOM sponsored China Council for International Investment Promotion, responsible for promoting cross-border venture capital and private equity investments between China and overseas markets.  Shirley received an MBA in Finance from Yale University School of Management in 1993, and is currently a Member of Yale SOM Global Advisory Board. She is married with two children who both graduated from Yale recently.

Wei is the founding partner of China Creation Ventures (CCV). He is a resourceful venture capitalist, a successful serial entrepreneur in technology, and a pioneer of Chinese digital payment industry. Before becoming an investor, Wei has accumulated more than 10 years of experience in technology innovation and business management. In 1993, Wei joined Fujian Start Group as a founding member and became the youngest executive officer. He oversaw the group’s corporate strategy and M&A and took the company to IPO on Shanghai Stock Exchange in 1996. He then served as the CEO and the Board President of Shanghai Hanbo Technologies. Under Wei’s management, Hanbo enjoyed years of rapid growth and was acquired at high valuation.

In 2007, Wei joined KPCB as a founding member and Managing Partner of the China office. During the 10 years at KPCB, Wei led the TMT investments in Greater China. Within the 29 TMT companies Wei invested in, 11 have become unicorns, 1 has achieved over 500x return, and 4 have achieved over 100x return.

In 2017, Wei founded CCV with the original TMT investment team at KPCB China. CCV sticks to “selective investments strategy” and focuses on early and growth stage investments Enterprise Solutions, Digital Healthcare, Advanced Technologies, and New Generation in China. CCV currently manages over 500 million in USD and 2.5 billion in RMB. Since its establishment, CCV has already delivered 2 IPOs and 4 unicorns (within which 2 are valued at over 10 billion USD).
